Since 1994, the Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) and the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) have published a book called Community Connections.
In 2007 Get Active Now took the lead in successfully obtaining funding from the Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation in partnership between the school boards and seven community agencies to create www.accesswaterlooregion.ca.
The intent of this website is to promote the great resources within our region and to make resources with the book more accessible. This website is the first step in creating a unique resource for the region of waterloo for those living, working or supporting someone with a disability.
