The Child Care Special Needs Access Point (SNAP) is the single-point of access for special needs services for children, birth to age six, attending or planning to attend licensed child care in Waterloo region. SNAP takes referrals from child care programs, community agencies and parents who have a concern about their child’s development and then links families to the most appropriate resource, support or service. kidsLINK is the host agency for SNAP and is one of seven partners in the Child Care Special Needs Resourcing Partnership (CCSNRP).
To make a referral or to get further information about eligibility, contact the SNAP Coordinator by telephone at 519-741-0076 or by email at snap@ndsa.on.ca.
