For the past three years the Individuals who attend the June Community Placement Dinner Meeting have chosen to give a little back to their community by doing a Community Clean-Up and BBQ. This year was no exception.
We had 12 Individuals show up to collect garbage in the neighborhood surrounding the Kinsmen Training Centre on Sydney St. We collected a lot of garbage and debris and hopefully made a difference to the cleanliness of our neighborhood. Afterwards we enjoyed barbecued hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad and cookies.
This event marks the end of the Community Placement Dinner Meetings for the next two months and they will start up again in September 2010.
