YEP! It's Been a Great Summer!

Since starting with the Community Placement Program in August of 2004 Kris has had some unique job experiences such as a Customer Service Representative at Blockbuster Video, and for a period of time even held a second part time job at Bulk Barn.

Community Clean Up

For the past three years the Individuals who attend the June Community Placement Dinner Meeting have chosen to give a little back to their community by doing a Community Clean-Up and BBQ. This year was no exception.

 

Community Link

Community Link has been a part of the KWHS Community Placement Program for three years now and my how we have grown!

 

Proud to be a "Working Man"

In 2003 when Byron Weckman became involved with the Community Placement Program, he had a dream to work for a TV station. Seven years later, a small part of that dream came true.

 

Volunteer Action Force (VAF)

The Volunteer Action Force is a new initiative developed through the Community Placement Program. The VAF program is designed to encourage community building, networking, social opportunities and volunteer exposure.

 

2009 K-W Habilitation Services Health and Wellness Fair

K-W Habilitation Services (KWHS), in partnership with University of Waterloo, School of Pharmacy students, hosted our first Health and Wellness Fair specifically for people with intellectual disabilities, their families and support people.
