It’s National Volunteer Week!

All week, we’ve been celebrating the amazing volunteers we work with every day at KW Habilitation.

Social E1

Volunteers can be empathetic, but volunteering can also help us develop empathy – building our capacity to work collectively and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive society.  Volunteering impacts the lives of the people we support and our staff at KW Hab. We benefit from the selfless time and efforts regularly and that does not go unnoticed.

At KW Habilitation, volunteers are part of our entire organization. From serving as members of our Board of Directors, working at our Welcome Centre, spending time with the people we support, to working with our Early Learning team, and so much more, we’re incredibly grateful for the work and time that people dedicate to us.

We’re pleased to celebrate the strong connection between volunteerism and empathy. This profoundly human connection is at the heart of healthier individuals and stronger communities.  If you haven’t seen our social media this week, you might have missed these videos that share gratitude for our amazing volunteers.
